Not infected: Assuming you had standard HIV tests (antigen-antibody, i.e. 4th generation, or 3rd generation antibody test) more than 6-8 weeks after the event, and for sure by 3 months, the negative results prove you weren&#x27;t infected. No worries.

Disposable...: I can only speak for the vaccines in the USA; however, here all vaccines are given with disposable needles that are not reused.  I'd imagine that in your country, that is also the case - or at least the needles are sterilized before being used again so that risk of transmission of blood borne illnesses is negligible.

Discuss with own Dr.: That does not sound safe. In such a situation, a patient should talk with her doctor as soon as possible to review the details about what happened, and find out why it happened. During a blood draw, the technician should be very careful to not contaminate the patient with germs, and to not accidentally inject anything back into the patient.

Unclear info: Sharing needles is a know risk factor for HIV, if one of the users has HIV. If the nurse used a new needle for the injection, there is no risk.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

This is one of those theoretical risks for HIV commonly listed on websites and elsewhere as possible ways to be infected, but in fact in the 40+ years of the worldwide HIV/AIDS epidemic, there have been very few if any HIV infections acquired in this manner. Use common sense if you encounter such objects, but otherwise do not worry at all.

: Would take this very seriously, as possibly this was dropped by a drug user.  Have your doctor evaluate your situation, as it is impossible to predict what consequences may ensue, BUT cover the possible risks.  We have NO way of predicting where this may proceed.  Hopefully, this is a chance encounter and winds up harmless.

Absolutely: People who share needles, syringes, cookers, cottons, water, etc have a risk of sharing HIV as well as hepatitis b and c. Do not share anything (works etc) and do not backload. This is the best way to avoid these viral infections apart from stopping injection drug use entirely.

Yes, more than one w: HIV is transmitted through blood exchange witj an infected person. This could occur during sex, blood transfusion or blood exchange with an infected needle(not the syringe)
