i applied epiduo on neck pimples there is redness and rash how can i get rid of it asap can i use cetaphil lotion to get rid of it?

Accepted Answer

: Epiduo and other acne preparations can be drying to the surrounding skin.  It may be necessary to stop usage for awhile and then resume applying less frequently.   A bland lotion can be soothing, but will not stop the problem if you continue to apply.  If it is itchy or doesn't resolve promptly, see your doctor, preferably the one who provided the Epiduo.

a friend of mine had genital herpes, she is complaining about getting swollen lymph nodes in the neck & pimples on chest.is it normal?

Two kinds of Herpes : Genital herpes does not affect face or upper part of the body.   The symptoms you describe need medical attention.  Consult your medical doctor.  Hope this is helpful information.

Some possibilities..: Rashes, dots, or spots are hard to describe in words. Sometimes they are comedones or maybe bumpy hair follicles without hair. One's primary care doctor can examine to see what is happening. A video consultation may be adequate if lighting and camera are good. Only an exam can tell for sure what they are.

When you are ill: It sure sounds like you are ill.  You have a series of symptoms that do not fit one pattern.  Based upon the variety of your symptoms i believe you need to be seen by your family physician soon. 

However, if the neck stiffness worsens or if you have a fever you need to be seen urgently.

See surgeon: If pimple originates in same location each time, may have trigger present / unresolved cyst and it may require local excision to make go away. See a surgeon / dermatologist for evaluation.

Neck lesion: This would have to be inspected by a physician for diagnosis and advice. It could be an ingrown hair, inclusion cyst, simple pustule, wen or early abcess(boil). In the meantime apply warm soaks until you're examined.

Bensoyl peroxide: Benzoyl peroxide 10% is usually the best over-the-counter medication for pimples.  It is also important to wash the area well with a soap like neutrogena.

Baby acne: A baby floating in the slick moist environment of the womb will have pristine skin at birth.Between 2 wks and 2 months, more than half of infants will have transient baby acne triggered by the hormones that came across during pregnancy.I would keep it clean &amp; allow it to run its course. If any sites are more inflamed or persistent, your doc should evaluate. It should fade completely by 3 mo.

: Lung problems years ago in someone your age suggested something u Might have been born with.  Discuss with a Dr who can see and examine you. And get TBC skin test.
