i have had severe neck pain for about 3 weeks now and it hurts to look left and right and tilt back and it feels like it goes into the back of my skull. help?

Neck evaluation: Increased neck pain with various movements, and radiation of pain to the back of the skull are commonly associated symptoms of neck problems.  If there are no neurological problems like weakness into the extremities, or loss of bladder control, you can be evaluated first with x-rays and start a basic rehabilitative therapy.  Unless instructed otherwise, consider NSAIDs.  If needed - spine consult!

i have had neck pain for over 3 weeks now, and it's really stiff.  it's just getting worse instead of better.  could it be my thyroid?

Not thyroid: The thyroid is located in the front lower portion of your neck and doesn't cause neck stiffness as a rule. More common causes would be arthritis, muscle inflammation or a pinched nerve. Try wearing a soft cervical collar as needed and use heat, liniment and take nsaids if you can. See your physician if symptoms persist.

i am having neck pain on right side from last three days. my neck is stiff and for sometime it disapear and come back again.i recently quit my job?

Neck pain on right: Have you ever had an injury in the past?. MVA such as month or years?, any other trauma, other pain in joints?
Can you flex - extend the head? and rotate it R to L without pain or these maneuvers induce pain?
How severe is the pain on its own and to-touch? 3/10 or 7/10. 
Please answer the questions, and in the meantime time take Motrin 200 mg q 6-8 hrs, it should help

?Pseudotumor cerebri: You could have pseudotumor cerebri, a condition that mimics having a brain tumor. But because these are also symptoms of a real brain tumor you need to get it checked out. See a neurologist who can do the proper studies and help you get an answer.

i had a anterior cervical spine fusion of c6/c7 three years ago and i'm still having significant neck pain. is this normal?

Possibly: The surgery will decompress the spinal canal and foramen (area where nerve roots exit).  So while it can help with neuropathic pain, a number of musculoskeletal pain generators exist.  If it is a problem, seek care.

i have severe neck pain and horrible headache for the last three days. took to covid test both were negative.. i did have exray of my neck and doctor prescribed flexaral. i can't take it i fall if i do. is a severe headache due to neck pain.. help?

: If you possess cervical spondylosis and/or  degenerative disc disease, a secondary tension headache can be triggered.  Flexeril is  touted as a muscle relaxant, but may not necessarily address the pain consequentially.  Physical therapy with motorized cervical traction could be considered if the above mechanisms are playing a role.
