Headaches: Sounds like migraine but do see your doctor to rule out other serious illness.

Near diplopia: Your description sounds like asthenopia (eye fatigue) or convergence insufficiency (inadequate convergence of the eyes upon effect of near focusing).  I recommend seeing an eye doctor to get it sorted out.

Brain Tumor ? : The constellation of symptoms implies  a central brain tumor compressing the optic nerve and possibly other brainstem neurons in the lower part of the brain

Double vision: The surgery and being in hospital as well as stress around the procedure could cause the stiff neck muscles. However, double vision is not likely due to the stiff neck. I would have an evaluation and discuss this with your primary MD.

1yr ago i sustained a tbi resulting from a rollover crash resulting in 16 staples to the left side of the head, double vision, paralysis, and spatial incoherence for 1mo.now i have headaches where my left temple swells and i can hear fluid in my neck?

: You have now achieved most of your brain recovery but it appears that post-traumatic headaches remain.  Not clear if you also injured your neck.  Appropriate to have an updated full evaluation with a neurologist.  Imaging may be necessary.  A preventative program to handle your headaches would likely be quite successful.

sent to er yesterday because of double vision in short-distance viewing, headaches, and painful, stiff neck. pa worried,meningitis. negative cat scan and blood work. but found hypoattenuation-left frontal lobe, volume loss in white matter. what's up?

: Do you have any underlying disease such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, etc? Meningitis can't be diagnosed by just CT scan and blood test, lumbar puncture is necessary but diplopia (double vision) is not a common symptom of meningitis.

hi i have been diagnosed with fybromyalgia and under active thyroid for six years, i have started to get double vision when tired! is this normal?

Multifactorial: Fibromyalgia is a multifactorial consequence of hormonal, immune system and nervous system dysfunction resulting from genetic predispositions and dietary and environmental insults. These factors increase inflammatory chemicals which can cause pain and inhibit thyroid function. Double vision can be a serious problem. Have this checked out.

my mri report is clear but i have only symptom is double vision from last 5 weeks. is there any chance of ms. thyroid and diabetes test is normal?

Multiple sclerosis: Doesn&#x27;t sound particularly likely with the normal mri, especially if it was done with gadolinium contrast.  Undergoing a lumbar puncture to analyse the CSF may be worth doing.  For the record, loss of colour vision is the most common and often the earliest visual symptom of ms.

began a thyroid med last week (mornings), but also take prozac (fluoxetine) 40mg and topiramate (eves). in mornings now wake with crosseyed double vision/nausea, and during day at times get disoriented/nauseous?
