See doctor: I hope that you do have annual eye exam since you are 13. You need to see opthalmologist to evaluate your present sx., not just optometrist , .

Could: Most of the children are born mildly far sighted.  As the child grow the eye will balance off the far slightness.

my eyes run and collect a small bit of matter a little every and morning  and night.  on vaca or not.  about a yr.  can it cause nearsitedness?

Allergies: This is usually caused by allergies. Try a non-sedating antihistamine like loratadine and see if this gets rid of the problem. It will not affect your vision.

See family doctor: You could afford Prozac (fluoxetine) for your ocd. You will need a dose of 60-80 mg per day and this can cost as low as 12-20 dollars a month in our local pharmacies. Your therapy at home is much likely to go better if you are medicated.  Best wishes. Check also in your county for psychiatric services for indigent people.

38wks/4days preg. totally thinned out/effaced but not one bit dilated. whats the chances of going into labor sooner than later & having natural birth?

Not impossible:  it sounds like you have a diagnosis of cervical insufficiency and you have a stitch place to prevent dilation. The stitch should be able to holdyour cervix closed, however there are some situations where your cervix will continue to try to open anyway, such as infection. If you begin having contractions, get seen by a doctor immediately. Otherwise take it easy. Good luck

had pupils dilated for exam today and noticed rainbow halos around lights afterward. still seeing halos though no longer rainbow. is that normal?

Yes: You dilated eye can not focus well at the distance.  The dilation will last up to  4-6 hours.  If the dilating drop was a long acting it may last 24-48 hours.  The halo will go away after dilation.  If it will persist please call your eye doc.

It can be: Spotting in the first trimester doesn't necessarily mean miscarriage.  It occurs with implantation of the embryo into the side wall of the uterus and frequently after sex or an office exam or use of vaginal ultrasound probe.  If associated with alot of pain, esp on one side of the pelvis, you need to be more worried and see your ob.  And if heavy like a period be concerned also.

Preterm labor.: The symptoms you describe do not support a diagnosis of incompetent cervix, rather a typical preterm labor and delivery. You should get early prenatal care with all future pregnancies, consume Folic Acid 1-5 mg daily for the rest of your reproductive life and receive intramuscular weekly 17-hydroxy Progesterone caproate after 16 weeks to prevent recurrence.
