No natural way: Usually present in gut and in genital tract of 20-40% - but bad in pregnant women as it is a devastating infection in newborn, so needs treatment with antibiotics (preferably penicillin).

Large tonsils: As long as he is healthy and the tonsils are not red or inflammed or have white spots (exudates) on them  - I would NOT be too concerned.   Tonsils serve as "filters" just like other lymph nodes in the body - to trap dead and dying white blood cells typically increased during infections  -  thats the swollen glands  that we see during sore throats, and other infections.  I would not be worried.

Take the antibiotic.: Your sore throat will likely clear on it's own, however, you will have 1-5% chance of getting what's called rheumatic fever if it's not treated, which can affect the heart valves and cause havoc on your body.  Other bad things can happen from untreated strep - like tonsillar abscess and kidney problems.  Strep is no fun, but thankfully, penicillin still works well for it.  Cheers!

Strep: If getting strep at your age, you must still have tonsils. If having 3-4 strep infections per year or if strep interfering with work or personal life, time to consider tonsillectomy. Immunity issue probably not applicable, unless you are immune deficient.

"All Natural" means-: -that it is exempt from the testing "artificial" drugs undergo to find out about their effectiveness. In short, there is nothing in it that is known to interact with Clindamycin; but if there is, the company that produces natural supplements is under no obligation to check for it, or to tell you if they find it.
