If it’s viral you can treat it with Tylenol and hot fluids. If it’s bacterial you need an antibiotic therefore see your doctor. Good Luck

No. But first, are you sure it's strep throat? Diagnosed by lab test? Symptoms alone cannot accurately distinguish strep from other causes of sore throat or laryngitis -- and laryngitis is more likely viral and strep. However, if you do have strep throat, it MUST be treated with an antibiotic. Not doing so can lead to dangerous (even life threatening) heart and kidney disease.
