Easy answer: Nasal polyps arise from the lateral wall of the nose, lateral to the middle turbinate and represent a de novo inflammatory growth.  The causes are multiple, such as bacterial infection, fungal infection, and viral infection.  Although the exact etiology is still an enigma.  Nasal vestibular furunculosis is an infection of the front of the nose, the nasal vestibule, and is caused by S. aureus.

what is the best treatment for recurrent furunculosis?

That depends!: These can be from skin colonization with staphylococcus or a disease: hidradenitis suppurativa (hs).  If due to staph commonly treated with incision, antibiotics (sometimes long courses), antibacterial soaps & high heat washing of all laundry.  Obesity, blood disorders, corticosteroids use, immune disorders, & diabetes mellitus need addressing.   Hs needs specialized evaluation and experienced doc.

Skin abscesses: Furunculosis is the condition where small skin abscess (looking like pimples or boils) erupt over the skin. Usually these spontaneously drain before the next batch erupt. That being said, the scabbing &amp; throbbing don't seem consistent with furunculosis. However, it's difficult to tell sometimes. The biopsy report should be definitive. : If the cough has lasted more than 2 weeks, see a doctor. If you have not been vaccinated, get Covid vaccine. It is not feasible to say if it is Covid without doing the test.

i have a vestibular disorder. since last wednesday my vertigo has been worse than normal. move my head, crouched down and get up. waking up with headache.even a noise out of the blue will trigger it. its not lightheartedness. i know the difference?

: Not feasible to be precise, but let's assume this is peripheral, not central, and if so, may respond to vestibular physical therapy, and possible Epley maneuvers. Vertigo: Vestibular neuritis, can be a paroxysmal, single attack of vertigo, a series of attacks, or a persistent condition which diminishes over three to six weeks. It is a type of unilateral vestibular dysfunction and may be associated with nausea, vomiting, and previous upper respiratory tract infections. It generally has no auditory symptoms, unlike labyrinthitis.

Symptomatically: In the early stages just anti nausea and anti dizzy medications.  The acute effects usually go away after a few days.
