Consult allergist: There are many reasons but none likely related to CMV infection in childhood. Given your problem, you may need  an allergy -immunology evaluation plus a CT sinus scan. ENT intervention may also be needed if anatomic obstruction of the sinus openings is found.

One cause?: You describe multiple signs and symptoms that may or may not be related.  Please see your Physician for examination.  Your Physican may also recommend that you see your Dentist, but I suspect that hour problems are medical, not dental.

i'm 36 y/o & have had 4 or 5 inner ear infections this year. my doc has suggested i get grommets. what are the pros & cons. also have nasal polyps with about 5 ops over a 15 year period?

Inner ear infection!: you probably meant 'middle ear infections' and Grommet tubes are meant to ventilate /drain the middle ears in case the Eustachian tubes are blocked. You also have nasal polyps that were surgically removed 5 x before, all this points towards chronic inflammation, ? allergic, in your upper airways, kindly see an allergist, if you have access to one, Grommets will just be temporizing, good luck

Check ears: You need to contact your doctor again to check your ear to find out if it may be infected.  I don't think the nasal spray caused the ear problem however.

Yes: If you have head pressure, it would be best for you to consult your doctor. With nasal polyps, chronic sinusitis is likely present as well.

can nasal polyp be cured with budesonide nasal spray?

Usually not: Nasal polyps generally do not "go away" when one is put on a nasal steroid such as budesonide.  These medications can help control symptoms of a runny nose, nasal congestion, pressure, etc., but once a polyp is present, the only way it goes away is through surgery.

Polyps and asthma: There is no home remedy for them, if you are also allergic to Aspirin you need to be desensitized for it , if you are not then you need to find an allergist, get tested to determine your triggers and treat your symptoms accordingly, allergy shots may help. But you still need medications to treat the symptoms.

why is it not possible to expel your own nasal polyp? i have a pic of what i blew out,  it looks like one. ent has no clue what it is. scope= clean.

Usually not: It is usually not possible for the polyp to come out since it is attached to the tissue.  However I have heard of this in another patient. What is more likely is that you had expelled a thick pellet of mucus.  However if the thing looked translucent, then you might have blown out a polyp- rare as it may seem.

See doctor: Most of the nose bleeds come from the septum, I would suggest that you ask your doctor to exam your nose to ascertain the source of the bleeding. On many occasions, cauterization of the bleeding point(s) would solve the problem.
