No: Topical Mupirocin is safe and the absorption is minimal. You can check with your gyn though to be certain.

15 weeks oral antibiotics + 4 weeks nasal mupirocin= 5 weeks of tongue thrush. nystatin failed, troches failed and now im 7 days into 14 days diflucan with only about 30% improvement. should it have cleared more with diflucan? no sugar/alcohol diet?

See ENT: If there is a permanent white patch which fails to heal and bleeds often, one needs to consider cancer. I recommend that you contact an ENT ASAP.   Be sure also that you are aiming your Nasonex away from the septum otherwise it will likely cause bleeding. Aiming nasal steroid at the septum theoretically may lead to monilial infection  (transient white patches) although I have  never seen it.

i have a abscess in my nose , i was prescribed batrim oral and mupirocin topical. i dont know if i am allergic to sulfa drugs and im very scared to take it and have a bad reaction. how can i check if i am allergic without ingesting it ? or other dr?

Sulfa allergy: There is no way to check if you are allergic. Sulfa drugs are used a lot and the number of allergic reactions are small. If you are concerned, just use the Mupirocin.

Don't see any harm: Don't see any harm in trying to use the same cream...as long as wound is small  and without any complications

Irritant: The Mupirocin or the carrier in bactroban (mupirocin) may be acting as an irritant to you.  Not everyone responds in the same manner.  Glad to hear that you are using this, however, since it has a fairly good success rate in eliminating MRSA from the nares.
