really weird feels like there's air under my right big toe nail. it looks normal but feels strange. like when an apple peel is stuck in your teeth ?

Watch and wait: If there is no pain, you may wait it out. Just check the nail periodically, every couple of days would be fine.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

the skin behind my toe nails are peeling in my right foot (all nails showing the skin peeling). my left foot doesnt show this at all. it is only the skin immediately behind the toe nails (not between toes etc). what could cause this?

: Could possibly be a fungus infection, esp if it's unilateral. Suggest seeing a dermatologist for fungal culture and appropriate treatment.

HFM: It could be. This also a symptom of resolving scarlet fever. That is a rash caused by strep throat. Especially, if her fingers, and groin area are also peeling. Call your pediatrician, to be sure.

Depends on details: Fingers or palms can peel off old skin at the topmost layer if there was some inflammation (such as a recent fever or viral infection), some 1st degree burns (such as hot coffee), some eczema or allergic skin reaction, some chemical or irritant reaction, a sunburn, etc...  If peeling is moist, one's doctor or the ER can check for current bacterial infection.

Get it checked: I recommend having it evaluated.  It could be a number of things.  Eczema, psoriasis, allergy, fungus, just to name a few.
