i have outer wrist pain. my wrist pops a lot when i press on the outer part when my wrist/hand meets. the popping hurts. happening 2 months, i play volleyball. pain when twisting wrist outward and flexing wrist towards me and planking on my hands?

: What you mean by the "outer part" (thumb [radial] side or pinky [ulnar] side) could help answer this question. The motion you describe would strain the radial side, especially while planking, but the wrist involves articulations between 2 forearm, 8 wrist, and 5 hand bones, held together with ligaments and moved by tendons. You should see a hand surgeon or orthopedist for a thorough examination.

my wrist pops every time  i move it to the left or right ?

Little history: If there is not pain and no swelling then there  is probably little to worry about. Sometimes this can be from ligaments snapping over bone. I would recommend seeing an ortho to get a xray of the wrist and see if there is anything to do.

i've broken my arm 4 times a few years ago and it still hurts off and on, sometimes my wrist pops. what could it be? what is some relief?

Arthritis: Do you mean you broke it in 4 pieces, in one event, or that you broke it four separate times?  If the latter is true, you need to have your bone density and some labwork checked.
If it was all one nasty break, you have scarring and some arthritis and inflammation that are common.  The joint will not be "like new". Treat it carefully, ice and some antiinflammatories will help.

my wrist pops when i rotate it, and when i push my hand backwards my wrist hurts..or when i do pushups it hurts quite a bit?

You may have : Strained some of the tendons & ligaments. Hold off push-ups & other wrist stress for a couple of wks, (substitute other arm exercises), then gradually resume, starting w wall push-ups, then bench, then floor push-ups .  For now, use ice packs 3 times a day (frozen peas work well). Ibuprofen for a few days to decrease inflammation. When pain free, start stretching your wrists.

my wrist pops several times during dorsiflexion. i have weak pinching grip. i have weak middle and ring finger. do i require surgury? it's been 1 year

Need more info: Have you seen an orthopedic surgeon who sub-specializes in hand surgery. You may need some testing to see if there is nerve or soft tissue damage. The results of the testing will determine the treatment.

i recently hit sharp object with my wrist. now my hand is numb and tingling, and my wrist pops. what could i do?

Bruised nerve: You have not mentioned the duration of the symptoms or when the injury occured. Injury to the nerve at the wrist can cause tingling and numbness in the hand. Use a wrist splint to rest the wrist. If it has been more than a week after injury then i suggest you see a neurologist. You may need corticosteroids to reduce swelling around the nerve.

i am a waitress and i was picking up a semi-heavy plate. my wrist popped and now i have constant pain to my elbow. hurts to move and is popping?

Evaluation needed: Most likely, you have a tendonitis, but other injury may produce your symptoms, and a correct diagnosis is needed for treatment. See a PMR doc or orthopedist for evaluation. Then correct treatment can begin.

Depends: Wrist popping or clunking is very common.  Some of us (myself included)are predisposed to this because of our anatomy and congenital development.  Others develop symptoms as a result of an injury (old or new).  If it doesn't hurt and there is no dysfunction, it's probably ok.  If you are at all concerned, see your doctor or a wrist specialist for an evaluation.

Popping Wrist: This could be happing for several reasons.  It could be like your knuckles cracking.  You could have fluid in your joint from arthritis or some other disease.  You could have an infection or it could be the results off an injury.  You gave little information, so the best thing is to go to your doctor and get it evaluated.
