Several,sources: We often don’t sense injury from gripping too,tightly, and then later we notice pain. More concerning is the numbness, and that should be evaluated by a doctor to determine if there is entrapment of a nerve, or other problem.

Maybe, maybe not: 1-10% of people can have problems with their muscles or joints on Accutane.  However, what you describe can be due to other things as well.  Best to call your doc today and ask what the best next step is to sort out the cause.

i am experiencing wrist pain. seems like the top of the radial bone right under my thumb. i woke up with the pain 3 months ago and it is now so unbearable. i wear a splint and it hurts less but upon taking it off, the pain is bad. i have no swelling.

Try a wrist splint : If you do not have a obvious deformity, no broken skin, and does not have lots of swelling and black &amp; blue around your wrist, you do not need to worry yet. The soft tissue injuries are more often than fracture. You can try to put on a wrist splint, use heating pad, rest your hand on a pillow at night. See a doctor if not better in a week.

Treat as sprain: If you have no history of trauma, i would treat this injury as a sprain with rest and bracing if needed.  If pain lingers past 6 weeks, i would then get wrist evaluated from either ongoing new injury or an exacerbation of an old injury.  With a history of trauma, i would have wrist evaluated soon.

Varies: There are multiple potential causes, one of which is known as cubital tunnel syndrome in which the ulnar nerve that supplies the 4th.and 5th fingers is pinched at the elbow.  A detailed exam and appropriate studies can usually determine the cause, don't hesitate to be seen.
