Very low risk: First, if you think either you or he may have been at high risk for HIV, you both must be tested. Also get checked for other STDs. However, if you previously didn't suspect he to be at risk (for example, gay? inject drugs?), almost certainly he doesn't have it. Even if he does, swallowing a small amount of blood carries very little risk. But do get tested if you remain uncertain.

Gum disease: Usually bleeding gums are a sign of gum disease. It is often not painful and gets progressively worse over time. Left untreated, you could lose teeth and possibly develop very serious infection. You should absolutely see a dentist for evaluation and treatment.

No worries: Those little pieces of stuff that are accidentally swallowed (including little bones, seeds, plastic, glass, metal, etc...) will usually be pooped out without causing problems. Dangerous objects are magnets, button batteries, and larger or sharper intentionally-eaten items. If worried, one can talk with her primary care doctor.

HIV ??: Any blood contact on a mucus membrane with a person who is positive for HIV can transmit the disease.  A blood test for HIV will not be definitely reliable if negative for a month or two after contact. See your physician for testing, or get the male tested , which will be quicker if he is already positive.

Allow it to go: Through your GI tract - it should pass out with your stool. Normally it is not a problem - if it was particularly jagged ; you developed abdominal pain or rectal bleeding then seek medical care.
