if you have testicular torsion, would that testicle be able to ascend when you get an erection? is this a good way to test if you have it? my right one has been aching for a couple of days(happened in my sleep?

: Clinically significant testicular torsion is almost immediately very painful, and would generally require medical attention if occurring "for a couple days".  See your physician for an exam, as this diagnosis can be easily determined.

my testicles ache and my erections are not as frequent or as strong as they usually are. what could that be? i also feel a slight ache in my lower stomach and it shoots down my leg as well.

If : If you have testicle pain and pain that shoots down your legs, you may have a problem with your low back/spine. If you have a pinched nerve, it could cause pain in the testicles. It could also cause you to have shooting pains down the legs. Other possibilities are  prostate infection or pelvic muscle spasm. You should get in to see your doctor.

Doctor can evaluate: Testicles should not ache for no reason, so a primary care doctor can check, and refer to a urologist and send for a testicular ultrasound scan if needed. Testicle area aches and pains can be due to too much motion during sports (lack of a jock strap), an inguinal hernia, prolonged erections, trauma (getting hit/kicked), torsion (an emergency), certain infections, testicular cancer, etc...

sometimes when i walk my right testicle will ache iv'e had 3 negative ultrasounds this only happens sometimes and it only happens walking. am i okay?

Here are some...: At 19, any recurrent testicular pain with a highly variable onset, degree, duration, interval, evolution, resolution, and recurrence should lead a professional mind to consider the odd of experiencing recurrent testicular torsion (twisting). But your physically related only symptoms would urge one to make sure of no musculoskeletal causes. Ultrasound is usually useless if not done at right time.

hi i am 25 years old . i have a constant dull pain in my testicles and it pains more when i touch it . i  am also struggling to maintain my erections and struggling to get proper erections . its affecting me mentally so please can you assist ?

: It is not normal for a 25 year young man not able to maintain erection.
You need to see a doctor, or better a urologist, for a thorough exam then diagnose if the testicular pain and impaired sexual activity are related.

grade 2 vericocele in my left testicle. can this cause ed? i am a healthy 19 year old male. i have no problem with getting an erection alone, but when its with someone else, i have trouble trying to get and maintain. may be performance anxiety.

Erectile dysfunction: A varicocele should not interfere with erections. I suspect it is erected dysfunction due to performance anxiety. It would be reasonable to try Viagra or a similar medication.

Acute of chronic?: Acute- could be bruising or trauma.  If of longer duration (several weeks) most likely epididymitis. Testicular torsion and varicocele would not be likely.  See your doctor. I suspect low grade infection!

Physical stress: Erections, arousal and sexual activity are accompanied by increased muscular tone and states of increased muscle and fascial tension.  It is also a time for greatly enhanced blood flow to the pelvic area.
For some men, this can cause some tenderness and sensitivity of the testicles.  It usually resolves in a matter of hours.  If not, then seek medical attention.

Varicocele: Varicoceles occur on the left due to higher pressure in the left testicular vein (lgv in pic), transmitted via the left renal vein (lrv in pic).  The main problem this causes is loss of testicular temperature regulation.  Correction is surgical, but not always necessary.  Indications for surgery including pain, fertility problems and loss of testicular volume.
