Gas : The gas is normal.   More with Bottke fed babies.   You may want to try a different nipple style.   The oval nipple works well.   Also the size of nipple holes also impacts how much air is swallowed.  Try different sizes.   The type of formula could also be the cause.  Some infants do not tolerate milk based formula.  Try gentlease or similac sensitive.  Last you can try some gas drops (mylicon).

Yes: A young baby usually poops after every feeding or after every-other feeding (averaging 3-4 poops a day). As the weeks go by, babies tend to poop less often, some twice a day while others once every-other day. As long as a baby is normal in eating, growth, and development; and does not have constipation, bloating, or tummy aches; the number of poops per day is not very important.

Newborn poop: A 2 month old will have loose stools depending on whether they are breast or bottle fed.  Normally yellow loose (looks like mustard or posse cottage cheese) can be normal.  Some babies are sensitive to what the mother eats if she is breastfeeding and you can try eliminating dairy etc but i would
sto[ formula feeds and try exclusively breast feeding to see if it improves.

Get it checked out : You should get it checked out.  You might be bleeding or have an infection.

No: As long as he is comfortable and has no other symptoms, such as vomiting and abdominal distention with firmness, he is likely OK. He may also continue to pass some gas. There is a huge variation in what is considered normal stooling frequency. All the best.

Gastroenteritis: I would try to feed him through this. I would avoid juices and milk for a few days. I would also supplement his diet with pedialyte 1-2oz per diarrhea episode. If he is not urinating and has cracked, dry lips he may be getting dehydrated. If this is the case i would see your pediatrician.

Pretty common: The yellowish color in stool is the breakdown product of the bile when it has not been in the gut long enough to go through a change to brown. It is normal as is the  loose consistency.Infants have flabby loose belly muscles &amp; often require their fussing/breathing muscles to push poop along.This all sounds normal.

every morning i have a painful stomach ache that wakes me up to go use the restroom and i poop black liquid, what could be wrong?

Go in now for eval.: Black liquid feces is not normal.  In the setting of significant abdominal distress, this needs to be evaluated. Could be bleeding somewhere in the gastrointestinal tract. There are also other potential reasons, but this should be evaluated on a prompt basis.

2 mo old form fed baby,had 2 mo shots (rotavirus, tdap) 1 week ago, has been in pain since, eats less than before and sometimes cries when eating. spits up clear liquid around 2 hours after eating, most recent poop yellow and seedy like breast fed.

Sounds healthy: Babies cry for many reasons, not just pain. Do your best to make the baby comfortable, clean, held when needed, and fed every 3-4 hours, you are doing a good job and should not worry. Be safe
