Depends: Well, depends on the intensity of the nightmares - to be honest.  Also, some medications can induce bad dreams (for example, tizanidine amongst many others). Preventing covid: Contact with anyone who has been in a large group setting increases your chance of being exposed to Covid. Perhaps your mom wanted you to know that they had been in a large group setting so that you could take the appropriate precautions. Use a Mask, keep distance of 6 ft, sanitize surfaces and hands frequently and keep an eye out for symptomatic persons and avoid them.

No way to tell: Without seeing what her problem is, but if the doctor said surgery is indicated, i would follow their advice or get a second opinion.

Dementia: Blocked arteries can be a cause but there are other causes of dementia.  See a neurologist and have him/her work up other causes for dementia.  A neurologist does not do surgery so there is no bias to do procedures.  You will be glad to have gotten more information before you jump into surgery.  I do surgery myself and am never upset when patients get another opinion.

my mother has high, myopia doctor told her that the only way to cure them is intaocular lens procedure but what are the risks if it fails?..blindness?

Good result likely: Any surgery carries risk, and entering a "normal" eye for the purpose of inserting a proper corrective lense has some risk, higher yet in high myopia.  Many however, have had this done and the results are mostly favorable.  Always worth getting a second opinion in these circumstances from another local ophthalmologist.  Blindness is quite rare in these cases.

my mother has a kidney problem. now she says her doctor told her weeks ago she has calciphylaxis. what will that do to her?

Calciphylaxis: This is a serious issue. The deposits of calcium lead to disturbed blood flow to organs, muscles, and skin. There are patches of purple/black areas on the skin, indicating tissue that has died. The disruption of blood flow can be throughout the body and can cause varied problems with different organs. Try to keep the chemicals (electrolytes) in balance (especially calcium and phosphorous).

PERICARDIAL EFFUSION: PERICARDIAL EFFUSION  is fluid around the heart. It can be due to spread from the cancer itself, side effect of Chemo or from a virus. She needs close follow up with her ONCOLOGY DOCTOR and CARDIOLOGIST.

Adoption: If you have no ovaries, or no ability to produce an ovum, modern science cannot help you produce a child genetically related to you. You might be able to carry a child with a donated egg. Adoption is also a great option.

i went to two doctors & they told me my mole was fine. but its raised, dark, and painful. i cant touch it or around it at all. my mother had melanoma?

Get another doc!: The only way to know for sure that your mole is benign is to remove it. Even if it looks fine, if it's so painful that you can't touch it at all, it would be better off gone. Ask a doctor to take it off to make you feel better.  And make sure it is sent to pathology to rule out melanoma!

Please see below.: I advise having a meeting with you, her doctor, and her -- it would be unusual for someone to be diagnosed with this at her age, but there are other very different conditions with similar names. Cgd symptom onset is usually in infancy or childhood, and 90% of patients with it are males. Her doctor can tell you what her diagnosis is, and what its impact on her will be.
