Do not mix: It is not a good idea to mix otc medication with your presciptive drugs without clearance from your physician.  For instance, most if not all typical hydrocodone compounds have Acetaminophen and so does excedrine.  Potential exists to harm the liver.

Yes but: BE careful the number of times that one takes narcotics for the migraine. One needs to point out that is this is happening frequently that your husband needs to see someone for the headache for the correct treatment ot help prevent migraines if indicated or treatment if he gets then infrequently.

Hydrocodone: Each person feels different from taking hydrocodone. Some feel sedated, some euphoric or energetic and se feel nothing.  There is no need to take it with additional pain killers. Most hydrocodone comes with either tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen.

Beats me: You need to be asking these questions to whoever "they" are who are giving it to whoever they are giving it to, for whatever condition.  It is not possible without knowing the underlying issues involved in this illness or injury.  Baclofen is a strong muscle relaxant, and if the pain involved is related to muscle spasm would be a reason to give it. Why in a pump? I have no idea. Ask your doctor!

: Talk to your local doctor. You need a personalized recommendation from someone that has heard your story and reviewed your medical history. All opiates do the same thing, they only differ in dose. So you may need a dose adjustment, or a different class of pain medicine to reduce the pain that you are experiencing.

Be careful: both medications contain acetaminophen and the dextromethorphan in nyquil is a weak narcotic similar to hydrocodone. If she is not taking another hydrocodone in the evening, a dose 30ml of nyquil is ok
