Throat swollen: Based on what you have provided, it's impossible to tell.  The throat is quite complex and there are glands, muscles, lymph nodes that all could be affected.  There are even very large blood vessels and some nerves that could be contributing to what you are describing.  Because of the concern for breathing and swallowing when it comes to problems with the throat, you should have an evaluation soon.

Welding: The facial swelling and eye irritation could be secondary to welding.  The lip numbness is likely unrelated.  If it persists, i would go see a doctor for further evaluation.

May be normal: It is not unusual to have asymmetry of sides anywhere in our body. Asymmetry doesn't mean that there is swelling or abnormal deformity. If you still have concerns have an examination by a physician for reassurance.

: Kidney pain and swollen kidney can occur when a stone is stuck in the ureter which makes urine backing up in the kidney. However, you will have pain but less likely you can feel the swollen kidney.
You should go to ER if pain persists or get worse, especially if your urine changes in color.
Besides, you may have problem not related to the kidney at all so a physical exam in necessary.

It depends: It depends.  Do you think or skin is swollen?  Where exactly is there swelling on your body.

Swelling is usually the result of inflammation, the question is what is causing the inflammation.  See your doctor for a proper history and physical exam.

Likely gas: The large intestine crosses just under the diaphragm at that location. In many people it rises on the left side making it a prime location for bowel gas to accumulate in an upright person.Distension of the bowel triggers pain. An abdominal x-ray standing up  will often confirm that finding. I wouldn't consider the bad stuff when this can be easily documented.
