Red eye: An eye that is red and is painful needs to be evaluated.  You do mention itching, so possibly it is due to an allergy, but best to see your doctor.

Usually not: Pink eye in general means that you have a severe virus that causes significant itchiness. Most people however with a little bit of eye redness have an unstable tear film from blepharitis. Dry eyes: Your eyes are dry and need treatment.  Use over-the-counter artificial tears (not allergy or get the red out drops - they make it worse).  If this does not work, see an ophthalmologist

Many possibilities: Inflammation from a virus, dry eyes, infection are all possible. Artificial tears will sooth all of these, but you should see an eye doctor for diagnosis and proper treatment.

Conjunctivitis: Pink/Red Eye. Most likely. Apply cold compresses. Wash the hand before touching anything else so as to privet spread of this infection to other eye or to some one else.
 If not better in the AM, or eye is shut with Crusty discharge , have her see either her Ophthalmologist or PCP. She may need Antibiotic Ointment.

Itchy eye areas: You may have seasonal allergy or even an infection.  Please see your doctor ASAP so it doesn't get worse.  Not sure what you mean by "acid."  Perhaps you are putting a cream on to help and it may be making it worse.  Peace and good health.

Blepharoplasty?: I am guessing you had eyelid surgery.  The following refers to that (as incisions on the eye generally cannot be seen).  If so you had some skin removed and the upper lid elevated.  This opens the eye a little more and alters the tear distribution.  The redness is from dryness.  Get some over the counter lubricating drops and use them regularly until the eye surface adapts.

Meibum: These little eyelid margin whitish-yellow bumps are oil secretions from your glands of Meibum. They're usually rather inconspicuous but when the secretions are not released well, due to dysfunction, they appear as little bumps. Sometimes they backup significantly, get inflamed, and produce a sty. The stagnant secretions may burn. Do warm compresses and lid massages daily to help improv flow.
