yesterday, i was doing some sprints at the end of a workout and i felt a pop in my right hamstring and now my leg is very sore and difficult to walk in the area of the "pop".  i can't get an appointment with a doctor to have it checked out.  i was hoping someone here could help me.

Rest and massage: You know what happened and it is not likely to be injury to the bone; the main thing would be to rest and probably wrap the muscle to reduce motion if you have to move around. You could massage it with pain liniment as well to speed recovery.

my ribs, oblique muscles, chest, and legs are sore as if i've done a full body workout when i haven't. can this be due to carry a very heavy backpack?

Muscle pains: If you experienced these pains after carrying a heavy backpack then it is reasonable to assume the pains may be a result of this. Try Tylenol to relieve the pain. Take a break from carrying heavy items. If the pains persist, then see a doctor. If the pain is concentrated in the chest and worse with exertion, associated with breathing problems or radiates to arm, then see a doctor immediately.

worked out yesterday and stood for 6-7 hours for work (which i never do). last two days my legs have been twitching and pulsing. no pain or anything, are muscles just sore? they dont feel sore from like a workout but maybe standing still?
