Maybe: As long as you don't have untreated high risk narrow angle glaucoma, then other the counter meds warning about glaucoma should be ok.  Mucinex (guaifenesin) can affect pupil dilation (especially if combined with a decongestant), and thus potentially trigger acute angle closure glaucoma, an eye emergency (reason for the warning).

Mucinex (guaifenesin) has: Pseudo Ephedrine in it which can cause a narrow angle glaucoma  episode. If the type a glaucoma is not narrow angle then Mucinex (guaifenesin) is ok to use.

Yes: Mucinex is a mucolytic (guaifenesin) inhalers are of different kind. Bronchodilators, steroids, etc. None will interfere with it.

No and...details: If you are taking Mucinex (guaifenesin) you must be unwell. Drinking alcohol tends to dehydrate you and is not advised. That aside, mixing one drink with plain Mucinex (guaifenesin) is safe though extra water or other non alcoholic beverages should be taken.
Do not mix alcohol with Mucinex (guaifenesin) dm, Mucinex (guaifenesin) cold oral, Mucinex (guaifenesin) d or any other Mucinex (guaifenesin) combination medications. Side effects are not pleasant ; can be dangerous.

Indefinitely: Mucinex, which contains the ingredient guaifenesin, can thin mucus and help you clear the secretion. The effective dose is 1200 mG twice daily, but some people respond to 600 mG twice per day.

You can stay on it indefinitely. The only significant side effect of too much guaifenesin is nausea.

Cold medicines: Yes, in the short term these over the counter medications should not cause any harm when taken together.  I would not advise long term use for either one. If you are not getting any improvement or are worsening please get int to see your health professional.

depends: Mucinex (guaifenesin) is an expectorant designed to make mucus "more liquid" so you can cough it up. If your physician has prescribed this of course continue its use. However, if this is something you heard about , talk it over with your physician. It may or may not be for you.
