Numbness: I am not clear what parts of your body had the EMG. Having facial numbness with hand symptoms are concerning for a systemic neurological condition or a central neurological condition.  I suggest asking your doctors for the answers. If the EMG was of the arms, neck or hand that may not help explain the facial numbness.

Causes of sciatica: There are causes for sciatica besides disc problems. Hypertrophied muscle or spasm can push on the sciatic nerve causing pain to radiate down leg. The muscle can be in the lower back or pelvis. Since it appears that there is no serious structural problem, then physical therapy is the best way to get muscles and ligaments to relax and stretch and reduce pressure on sciatic nerve.

Probably: Hemifacial spasm is what you describe.  The nerve to the face is irritated.  The muscles were damaged due to overuse and are now recovering.  The cause must be determined.  Could be virus or trauma or due to tumor or disease of the nerve.  A thorough neurological evaluation would be appropriate.

: The premise of your question assumes that you have seen a specialist, in particular a Facial Plastic Surgeon. Isolated  weakness of one or both of the paired zygomaticus major and minor (both of which are “smile muscles”) would imply that you have smile asymmetry. Assuming no treatments around the outside part of your eyes with a ‘Botoxin’, the likely causes are trauma or viral. See a Specialist.

Spasm: Absolutely, spasm can reduce blood flow and cause pain/aching in the leg. Not sure why you had the steroid IM shot though. Consider getting your low back looked at by a chiropractor or a DO who knows how to manipulate.  Odds are you have a structural issue somewhere below L2.  Soak in a hot bath then do some gentle stretching exercises.
