Difficult to say: Normal muscle should not be active at rest so spontaneous activity should not be present.  That said, a diagnosis depends on what muscle was being tested, the kind of spontaneous activity seen, and the symptoms.  Without more information it is similar to asking one to guess the design of a large jigsaw puzzle from looking at  a couple pieces. Discuss the full report with the doctor that ordered it.

Both Loud: Hyperacusis (Misophonia) is a hearing disorder that results in difficulty tolerating sounds that would not bother most people. Recruitment is the rapid growth of perceived loudness for those sounds located in the pitch region of a hearing loss. Both sound loud, but in hyperacusis, there is an emotional response to the sounds whereas in Recruitment, there is underlying cochlear disease.

Sensory motor neurop:  It sounds like you have a sensory motor neuropathy. I do not buy that your nerve conduction 0 otherwise normal. The problem with EMG test, like eg is that it is very subjective. Some doctors are just too conservative, and tend to under retest. Some just don't know how to read him at all. I would get a second opinion.

i had an emg and my dr. did not explain what the numbers mean. axillary neuropathy with denervation to the deltoid. what does 3+ fibrillation  and +1 reduced recruitment mean? also, .8 on amp wheras other side was 7.6?  severity of injury??

: Appears that you damaged your axillary nerve on one side.  This affects the deltoid muscle and would be correlated with weakness and muscular atrophy.  Discuss the results with your doctor and obtain advice regarding therapeutic intervention.

yes : Yes. A common side effect that potentially occurs with the use of held all enrolled changes in muscle activity. If this is present, talk with your doctor to discuss lowering the dose, changing medication or adding a side effect medication to address this if the Haldol (haloperidol) is otherwise effective for you.

Don't forget proper nutrition w/plenty of lean protein, fiber & healthy fats.
