i dance hip hop&have really bad neck pain. muscles ache when move my head in circles. is this my neck muscles just sore and getting stronger or worse?

Neck pain: Can have many causes and the rigors of hip hop dancing certainly can aggravate the pain.  I recommend an in person evaluation.

got put in hard headlock and now neck muscle are sore to touch  and  feel pain when turning neck..not sharp pain just like stiff neck pain.what to do?

Neck pain trauma: Most muscular injuries will resolve over two-three weeks. Rest, heat, ice, and nonsteroid medications (ibuprofen or naprosyn) are the mainstay or early treatment.  If pain radiates to your arms with or without arm weakness, difficulty walking or urinating occurs, urgent evaluation is indicated. Physical therapy and rehabilitation will improve injuries resistant to initial conservative management.

Get seen: My first concern, especially if it's also week, is that you're coming down with inclusion body myositis. One of several possibilities, but a reason in itself for perhaps specialist consultation.

Viral syndrome : If "tummy bug" was due to a virus which sounds like it was, the same bug is causing a viral syndrome manifesting as described.  Or a new bug came along.  Cannot rule out meningitis in setting of a viral syndrome, headache and neck pain and would require further evaluation.

left side neck pain, left neck muscles extremely tight, pain/twitching/weakness/shakiness in left arm. a very sore spot around c5/c6. 34 female. tips?

You may have a: pinched nerve in the neck.The weakness is concerning and requires a work up.See a Neurologist or start with your family doc.The twitching goes along with weakness when the nerves to a muscle are compromised( fasciculations).This requires prompt attention and could be from a herniated disc in the neck or another process that has compromised the nerves.Good luck

tested negative for hiv 32 days after protected exposure with 4th gen duo p24 test. my back of neck is sore and under jaw where lymph nodes are at. joint pain muscle pain. just dont feel healthy. not hiv symptoms after 50 days post exposure?

Depends on the cause: There are different causes for neck pain. So to figure out how best to treat your neck pain, we have to know what's causing it.  Physical therapy, anti inflammatories and sometimes injections are used to treat neck pain. See your spine specialist and a good physical exam and some imaging studies will help to figure out what's causing your pain and how to get it treated.

Sore Neck: Neck pain is discomfort in any of the structures in the neck. These include muscles and nerves as well as spinal vertebrae and the cushioning disks in between. See your local orthopedic doctor for a diagnosis and therapy.
