9 years ago i had mrsa infection and i got surgery for it, i now have a scar on my leg thats about 5-6 inches. is it possible for me to get a tattoo over it or would that be too dangerous?

had mrsa on eyebrow years ago. healed completely, no scar. im on accutane, last month, acne cured. lump growing(skin thickening) right where mrsa was. derm doc thinks its nothing but it keep growing. can old mrsa wound respond to accutane this way?

Maybe: This is actually a pretty good question. I'm sorry you went through endocarditis -- many folks with MRSA endocarditis perish despite treatment. I'm glad you're okay and sorry you've got the valve deformities -- this puts you are somewhat greater risk. If the folliculitis is really MRSA, there's some change it'll get back there -- but with treatment, I'll make a side bet that it doesn't.

i have a leking mitral vavle due to endocaditis twice second was mrsa i had two stokes what are my chances of a 3rd i have scarring on valve  have ?

Possibly high: Discuss with your doctor asap if you are not on a blood thinner.  If your strokes were due to the valve, a blood thinner may help prevent future strokes.

i had carpal tunnel surgery a year ago and got mersa in surgical site then had surgery to cleanse the wound. my scar has recently become very swollen ?

Further eval needed!: If surgery done one year ago? Why swelling now?..did you re injured it? Is it hypertrophied from keloid?. Keloid is a thick,elevated scarring from the healing of the  incision. Some skin types heal that way- it is difficult  to answer if not seen in person. If painful or fever ,should be seen by internal medicine ,dermatology or Ortho.

Needs biopsy: A staph boil or abscess usually soft, hot, tender so does not sound like a typical bacterial infection. Since it's hard with no fluctuance, I suggest Derm evaluation for biopsy

MRSA infection: Mrsa infections can be treated with appropriate antibiotics like clindamycin, sulfa, the flare, vancomycin, zygodactyl, or cubicin. Care takers whether in hospital or otherwise should follow contact precautions to avoid spread of infection. 
Mrsa infection can occur in soft tissue infections, blood stream etc. Infections can be life threatening and serious.
