I had carpal tunnel surgery a year ago and got mersa in surgical site then had surgery to cleanse the wound. my scar has recently become very swollen ?

Further eval needed!: If surgery done one year ago? Why swelling now?..did you re injured it? Is it hypertrophied from keloid?. Keloid is a thick,elevated scarring from the healing of the incision. Some skin types heal that way- it is difficult to answer if not seen in person. If painful or fever ,should be seen by internal medicine ,dermatology or Ortho.
