in my mother's mri scan report for brain, they told "right maxillary and ethmoidal mucosal disease".

what does this mean?  is there a treatmnt

Sinusitis: That usually means sinusitis/inflammation in the sinuses- unless they characterize further on what they mean- like an abnormal growth/mass etc. She may want to try some decongestant, nasal wash, humidifieror etc to help cleanse the nasal/sinuses. Discuss further with her doctor. Antibiotic likely be needed for an acute sinusitis.

had a mri brain scan.report says prominent virchow-robin spaces in fronto-parietal white matter and basal ganglia.no other abnormality, is this normal?

Yes: The virchow-robin spaces are peri vascular spaces normally seen around blood vessels and are not associated with any central nervous system pathology.  Please try not to worry as the report you cite is fine.  Well wishes.

my mri scan showed a ruptured dermoid cyst on my brain. my symptoms include nystagmus, dizziness, and headaches. i know nobody can tell me for certain without seeing my scan report but what is the likelihood i will need surgery?

: If the lesion is inside the skull and directly impinging on the brain tissue, it would be prudent to get it out and that may need surgery.

2 issues: pain is usually the result of some pathogen settling in the foramina narrowing  focus.. Pain also could be the result or impingment.  See a neurologist to treat pain, and to treat underlying narrowing issue.

neck mri scan report, what does it mean some prominence of  the central canal in the cervical spine? please explain.

Need more details : Normally the cervical canal forms a tube-like space through which the spinal cord goes through.  This space has leeway  to allow to allow for flexibility. If a prominence is in the canal it is taking up space in that tube like space. If too large the prominence could interfere with the spinal cord. The question is how large or small it is ? Does it  interfere with the spinal cord or not?

mri scan report - acl, pcl are normal. lcl, mcl are normal. small osteochondral defect are noted in intercondylar region of tibial articular surface.

Essentially: This is a small fracture through the cartilage of the tibial articular surface that extends down into the bone. These defects (fracture fragments) can be attached to the rest of the tibia or loose in the joint.

: This is a judgement call, as depends upon knee stability and likelihood of progressive healing associated with conservative therapy.  The big issue is the potential development of "wear and tear arthritic degeneration" (chondromalacia).  At your age, 21 yrs, you have potential for worsening over the  years.  Obtain at least 2 orthopedic surgical consultations and decide.
