: The MRI can easily reveal the anatomy of the eye and anything unusual about the structure. It will not detect/verify near or farsightedness.

Headache: Behind the eye can be related to sinus problems, an ENT specialist can help, probably a neurologist as well , seems that you have seen one already given the MRI study, however a second opnion won't harm, see an ENT specialist for now, wish you and your husband wellness

my uncle (65) she had a fall and hit his head 2 months ago. 2 ct scans came out fine. later that week he developed double vision, he went to the ophthalmologist and he said the problem is not in his eyes. ordered mri. what could it be causing this?

: Probably a 4th cranial nerve palsy. The 4th cranial nerve is subject to injury from blunt head trauma, such a falling, whiplash injury, or just bumping your head on a cabinet. Usually the double vision is vertical and is worse when looking away from the affected eye. There might also be a tilted component. The nerve regrows spontaneously over a period of months. MRI rules out more serious causes.

i have a left turn in my right eye and my mri came back neg., cat scan came back neg, saw neurologists, eye doc...any ideas what the problem could be?

6th cranial nerve: Could be a 6th cranial nerve palsy. Common causes include small vessel ischemia from diabetes or hypertension. Make sure you are under the care of a good ophthalmologist. Often improves within 6 months.

Eye pain: I assume that uveitis or glaucoma have been ruled out. After all you went through without a diagnosis or relief, I recommend consulting an ophthalmologist at a university hospital near you.

mri showed a 3cm polyp in the floor of the left maxillary sinus and a 1cm lipoma in the left frontal sinus. i  have eye problems. what does this mean?

Probably unrelated: Benign growths confined to the sinuses wouldn't cause eye problems.  You may need treatment for the growths, which would be referral to an ENT surgeon who can remove them.  Talk to your doctor, the one who ordered the mri.

Seek help: If you were exposed through a bite from an animal that could have rabies, i.e. a bat or stray , uncaptured dog,you should have received rabies prophylaxis.  If you did not,then you need to contact your physician right away.  Most prople infected with rabies develop symptoms very quickly but it take  up to a year.  Have you discussed tgis with your doctor, had the animal tested, had DFA.

i have a small lump in my brain. i get it mri every couple months. it hasnt changed dr says its fine. i have been to a eye dr i am still experencing vision problems and nose bleeds

A : A mass inside the brain or the skull can be monitored by MRI to look for changes that could cause problems. Symptoms depend on where the mass is.  Vision problems could be caused by mass effect on the optic nerves (the nerves that see), the nerves that help move the eyes, or parts of the brain involved in vision.  Nosebleeds would be an uncommon symptom of a mass inside the brain or skull.

Even if nosebleeds and vision problems are not related to a mass inside the brain or skull, they are important problems and should be brought to the attention of a doctor.

mri clear. any prescription drug i dont feel effects fron maybe 50 percent less also sinitus 1 and half year no nose blockage. eye check all clear . decongestents dont work tooth pain and electric shock pain teeth eyes cheeks. memory problems fatigue?
