When in doubt- eval: Aad malignant melanoma:  asymmetry: 1 half is unlike the other. Border: irregular, scalloped or poorly defined. Color: varied with shades of tan, brown or black; or white, red or blue. Diameter: &gt; 6 mm. Evolving: mole /skin lesion looks different from the rest or is changing in size, shape or color.  An irregular mole that itches, bleeds or is painful is worrisome for possible cancer.

how do i find what's the difference between a mole, skin tag, and cancer?

A biopsy: A skin tag tends to look like a grainof rice or small tag coming from the skin they are no cancerous more common in overweight persons with redundant folds of skin the neck and axilla are common places.
A mole is a growth of cells on the skin normally bening but some can change and that is why you should see a dermatologist. Moles tend to be round smoothed walled and ma have hairs.

: This doesn't happen, no risk at all. No sex means absolutely no chance of catching any of the HPV types that cause genital infection. Google to see photos of typical warts, skin tags and moles, but the only way to be 100% is to be seen by an experienced doctor or clinic.

Have mole checked: All new moles should be checked out. Skin tags under the breast often get irritated and itchy. People refer to skin lesions as tags and moles but there can be a lot of different causes of skin growths depending on what is going on with the cells. Pigmented moles that are changing or look a lot different then the other moles need to have a trained eye take a look.

Need Dermatologist.: Any change like this in a longstanding mole needs to be evaluated by a Dermatologist. Biopsy may be required for definitive diagnosis.

Shouldn't : It is an antinflammatory cream.  Shouldn't remove any skin or moles

: Dull razor shave may not be a good idea, however if you use antiperspirant you may want to interuppt for a few days because it could be the irritant.

New moles after 40: A mole after 40 needs to be watched or checked. One out of ten adults have an atypical mole...these can become CA sometimes.  Not every atypical mole will be CA.  Check for irregular borders, dark pigment, larder, and borders that fade into the surrounding skin.  Have your dermatologist take a look....I always say if you don't like the looks of it or your worrying about it take if off.
