Probable infection: You may have a cervical or vaginal infection. You should see a gynecologist to determine if there is an infection and, if so, to treat it.

It is a very unusual: Pap smear report. I don't believe this one finding indicates that cancer is certainly present ... but it definitely needs clarification and raises suspicion.  Please discuss with your performing physician/gynecologist. At a minimum, I believe the smear should be repeated and consideration given to additional diagnostic testing. Good wishes.

Mod inflammation: Inflammatory cells are seen on a pap smear when the cervix is inflamed.  This is usually a self limited benign process.  There is no evidence of dysplasia/malignancy.

Pap: Taking a pap involves rubbing your cervix to get cells that are then looked at under magnification. Inflammation is frequently seen on pap. This can result from trauma with sex and tampon use. It is not considered abnormal unless your have a chronic discharge or bleeding with sex.

: This isn't normal, but usually it's not a serious problem. It doesn't indicate HPV or cancer risk. However, inflammatory changes on Pap smear sometimes is due to infection, especially STIs like gonorrhea or chlamydia. Discuss with the doctor or clinic where the Pap was done. Good luck.

Cervicitis: This simply means inflammatory cells where present on your cervix.  There is no evidence of dysplasia.  Your doctor may place you on antibiotics.

Does not sound serio: Inflammation of the cervix is not uncommon but it is not serious. Pap is done to look for early Cervix Cancer. So a negative test for Cancer, means the test has done its primary job. Your gynecologist can help you further if you are anxious to find the cause and treatment but it is not anything serious..
