Accepted Answer

Yes, that is true.: Please avoid taking overly hot baths or use of hot tubs & saunas during pregnancy due to risk of hyperthermia. The american college of obstetricians & gynecologists recommends pregnant women not use saunas or hot tubs.  A warm bath is ok. Keep temp 100 degrees f or.

will i get tss? i left in a regular absorbancy tampon, when i needed a light one, for 6 hours. when i tried taking it out, it was dry and had to take a bath to wetten it.

Accepted Answer

If : If you have not gotten toxic shock syndrome (tss) already and you removed the tampon, then you'll be ok.  Tss is caused by staphylococcal bacteria that can grow on an inserted tampon that has been left in too long.  Usually, once the tampon (or other foreign body) is removed, then the source of infection is gone.  Below, i've attached a website with more in-depth information on tss if you are interested.

i did a detox  apple cider bath , one hour later i was very tired had a headach , the next day my left side hurts and my back why ?

I can't explain it: I'm not sure the apple cider had anything to do with it, unless you added something to the bath.  If it was very warm/hot, your blood vessels could have dilated making you feel "washed out" or tired. Vasodilation could have contributed to headache as well.  My only thought about your left side/back is that you were cramped in the tub. Hopefully all is improving! Doubt any serious harm. Good wishes

No problem: If chemotherapy employed and there is no problem with BP, oral meds cant be affected in terms of absorption from GI tact by taking warm bath.  If meds were given intravenously they are already in circulation and their distribution to the organs of the body are similarly unaffected.

Take her temperature: Fevers cause chills on the way up and sweating on the way down but aren't the only thing that makes us feel cold. You dont mention other symptoms that would indicate illness (cough, runny nose, ear pain, vomiting). You need to take her temperature and if she does have fever that persists or gets worse after 2-3 days of ibuprofen has trouble breathing or persistent vomiting she should see a doctor

Choking: Some of the water made its way into the windpipe and his vocal cords went into a spasm causing him to choke., and cough. If the bath water had soap/body wash mixed in, irritation may also cause hoarseness of his voice or a more prolonged cough. More often than not, this situation does not cause any complications.

It is not likely: It would likely be normal Flora from your skin. If she gets itching or redness, or low grade fever or chills your girlfriend needs to see her primary care physician. The same if she has burning on urination.

Hidraadenitis?: Infections in this area can be related to the glands in the skin.  Good clean hygiene, weight loss, loose fitting clothing etc can help prevent flare ups.  abscesses need to be lanced.  See an MD to be sure.  there are some new treatments

3 minutes : 1 minute: A three minute hot bath or shower followed by 30-60 seconds of cold, repeated several times can increase circulation and decrease inflammation.
