has anyone herd of mittelschmerz right before period?

Mid-cycle pain: By defintiion mittleschmerz is mid-cycle pain, usually related to ovulation. The word means (in german) 'middle pain.' feelings of crampy pain, 'pinching, ' and bloating are very common right before a period though - is this like what you're describing?

today is my cycle day 1(01/21/22).last period started 12/28/21.ovulation confirmed with opk and mittelschmerz on 01/08/2022.my cycle used to be 28-30 days long.recently cycles got shorter like that(25-26days).normal?why?(no probs with ovulation?

: "Shorter cycles may coincide with age related increases in FSH, related to causing ovulation to occur earlier, and onset of menses earlier as a result.

i'm having mittelschmerz pain. last period 10yrs. ago. bowels are normal & regular. some low back pain. not sure how normal this is, do i call dr.?

Mitteleschmerz: Mittelscmerz pain is due to to ovulation and occurs about 2 weeks before your menstrual cycle. Since your last period was 10 years ago this is not a likely cause of your pain today. Pelvic pain is complex with many causes. A thorough evaluation is warranted.

See your md: Its very hard  to tell what is happening by  the  given description. See  your  doctor  to rule out infection,  and other causes of pelvic pain  like  ectopic  pregnancy.

Irregular periods: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own.  There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit. Pelvic pain is complex as there are several organs in the pelvis which can cause it. An examination and evaluation is needed

Period ?'s: Positive ANA and RNP, plus associated "weakness, fatigue" may create stress sufficient to delay ovulation, and consequently delay a "normal" period.  Delays in ovulation if sustained will allow continued production of estrogen from the ovaries, and breakdown of lining cells in the uterine lining, which leads to brief 1-2 day bleeding.  If pregnancy is possible, obtain serum HCG test in a week.

A lot of things: The female pelvis is complex. These symptoms can be gynecologic (ovarian cysts, infections, early pregnanacy), urologic ( bladder infection, interstitial cystitis), gastrointestinal (colitis, virus), musculoskelatal, or even related to your back. See a doctor: It is impossible to tell what pain is from without an exam and more thorough history.  Pain that comes and goes as intervals is commonly intestinal cramping from the intestines that lie on top of the uterus.  Sometimes an ovary can twist and untwist causing severe, worst pain of your life pain.  To know for sure if the pain is either of these issues or something else, please see a doctor

Ovulation pain: Rather unusual to have ovulation pain prior to the end of menses.  Unless you have a very short cycle normally.
