Fluid/dislocation: No. It is probably the other way around. If you injure a joint, the joint reacts by producing fluid. A fluid-filled joint might be more vulnerable (as in rheumatoid arthritis) but it is not the fluid that causes the dislocation.
You have to tear a lot of supporting ligaments to produce a dislocation.

Yes, 6 weeks: Most fractures are healed by 6 weeks and you should be able to resume normal activities soon thereafter. Most fractures need to be stabilized with a cast or splint.  Post immobilization stiffness may require occupational therapy.

Hard to say: If your bone maturity were less than ~14 your own growth hormone level should be studied. If low, or neutral supplementation might be considered to jumpstart your system. If your growth centers are closed or close to closing (bone age 17-18)there would be no point.

Hand is the standard: Over many decades growth studies have relied on the evaluation of hand x-rays because there are so many growth plates available for study. From the 8 wrist bones to each component of fingers &amp; palm films were correlated with chronological age to determine who is behind/average/advanced toward the end of growth. Uniformity with other body sites is the norm. Don't expect growth when hands say no.

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

Hand fracture: If the fracture is subtle then there may just be little or no swelling. The more severe the fracture the more swelling you will see. There also may be a gross deformity present if the fracture is displaced.

Yes: There is good correlation between hand and foot bone age, but there can be different interpretations depending on the person reading the x-ray, the quality of the x-ray, and depending on what standard is being used, ie, the US vs the European.  It is most helpful to use a combination of factors to determine future growth , including sexual maturity exam, growth chart,  as well as bone age.

Accepted Answer

Growth: Once the growth plates fuse, then there is minimal if any growth. The person is unlikely to grow further. In the US the median age for onset of puberty in girls is around 10 years of age and menarche (the first period) is a later pubertal event and usually there is not further growth after menarche
