i was prescribed wrong blood pressure medication? june 11th by dr mina rizwan md. was supposed to be lisinopril hctz 20 25 mg. i received 20 12.5?

Protein: Resistance training and vegetarian protein can help you gain weight but it will take time to do so. Eat lots of beans and nuts as part of your diet. The protein and healthy fat will help you add weight.

1/2 hr Jumping jacks: Depends on your weight, and the intensity of the jumping jacks. Moderate intensity at 150 lbs burn 153 calories whereas a 200 (pyrethins and piperonyl butoxide) lb individual burns 204 calories.

in the u.s., i was told to take synthroid 30 min. before breakfast. here in japan i'm told to take thyradin-s (their levothyroxine) after breakfast.

Levothyroxine: Food, especially hot liquids, can disrupt absorption.  That is fairly well established.  The most important part, however, is consistency.  If it is inconvenient to take it on an empty stomach, such that you are missing doses, take it at a consistent time and then let your doctor adjust the dose.

i had a baby 9 weeks ago i have had unprotected sex from 31st dec to 13feb and i have done two test in jan both neg i had a bled for 5 min 2 day ago but stopped same day could i be pregnant?

Irregular vag bleedi: Yes you could be pregnant. Please see your primary physician or your gynecologist  for further evaluation.

i have done fistula removal surgery (lift)on jan 5th 2013. but i do have little pain while passing stool. that lasts for only 5 mins.

Reexam: You need to be re examined by your surgeon and may be should use stool softeners.

jan 2020 - sexual exposure july 2020 - rpr negative may 2023 - tpha negative ( done for peace of mind) can i consider the tpha test as conclusive and put the fear of syphilis to bed ?

: Your test results show for sure you do not have syphilis and never did. You really didn't need to spend extra money on the TPHA. That test is intended to be used only to confirm a positive RPR. Your negative RPR was complete proof you don't have syphilis.

my hand suddenly swelled up, red splotch/ ring where thumb joins hand.  hand feels warm.  should i go to the emergency room?  i have been applying ice for 30 min so it does not feel warm right now but still swollen and red

Swollen hand: Please go to your doctor if you can get in quickly.  If not, please go to your emergency room.  There are several possibilities including injury, arthritis, insect bite, gout.  Peace and good health.

i have a full tummy.. (i ate 4 shrimps, have a 4 shots of jack daniels.), after 20 min. 1 run 15m in a hot weather after eating and i fainted, why doc?

Fainting: Both alcohol and warm weather cause vasodilation (the blood vessels get wider and hence larger), which lead to lowering of BP. This can be a reason for fainting. You should not run following consumption of alcohol or after eating a heavy meal.
