See answer: This could be several issues, including heart burn (pyrosis), ulcers, gastritis, gerd (gastroesophogeal reflux disease) , or gall bladder disease to name a few examples.  Get an evaluation, preferably by a GI dr to get the proper diagnosis.  Good luck.

Get evaluated: There are a number of reasons for this.  We would need you to explain the symptoms that occur after eating and drink.  There could be due to anatomic abnormalities, gerd, metabolic disorders, partial obstruction.  A visit to your doc could help narrow the field.  I would advise you to get your child evaluated as soon as possible (today).

Nauseous. : Need to see PCP for workup and examination.  Probably need and EDG Scope performed.  Esophageal Stricture , Hiatal Hernia , Barrett's Esophagus   , etc. could be the possible causes.  Needs to be evaluated for further treatment before serious complications develop.

Possible Flu: Do you have a fever, runny nose? Did you get the flu shot this year? If the answer to last question is no most likely the flue.Check it out.

Just because an: Ultrasound was clear does not clear the gallbladder. Sometimes if it is very sluggish in emptying it will cause the same symptoms and the only cure is surgical removal . You look for it in a test called a HIDA scan. Best.

is it normal to hear and feel a sloshing sound in stomach after eating and drinking? sloshes when i suck my stomach in and when i move fast or exercise..?

: A "sloshing sound" after consuming liquids and solids is normal, and will be more pronounced (audible) when running, etc.. Wait a bit before active movement to allow for stomach contents to pass into the lower intestine, and the sound will disappear.

i often have a very bad headache after eating and drinking milk or other beverage drink. i also have gastritis.  what cause of this ?

Gastritis: if you have gastritis then eating can be uncomfortable. Are you on treatment like PPI- prevecid or H2 blockers like ranitidine? Would also check for h pylori. You may also have a sensitivity to milk so would avoid milk products  for 1-2 weeks and see if improves. Avoid caffeine drinks, soda, energy drinks f/u w/ doc

i am 30 years old and an alcoholic for the last 3 years (recently quit). ive also been taking omeprazole for the last 3 years. in the last couple months ive been burping after eating and drinking. is this a nefarious symptom? should i be worried?

: You belch air you swallow during feeding or subconsciously between feeds. Air eaters (aerophagia)  can be a nervous habit. I cannot link it to any serious medical condition.

i find that whilst talking, after eating and drinking a hot drink i get lots of ectopic beats in a row. why do these things trigger ectopics?

No ready explanation: There's no ready explanation. You need evaluation with lab work for your electrolytes, thyroid function, cardiac strength and valve function (an echo) and a recording of your heart rhythm for at least 24 hours or longer before it will start to be clear what's up.

had laparascopic surgery for hiatal hernia repair one week ago. the past few days, i'm been very auseated after eating and drinking. is that normal?

Accepted Answer

No: If you had the surgery one week ago you should not be experiencing symptoms. Could be some other issue, but I would let your surgeon know about the issue.
