my friend who had never used drugs done meth 2day. shes on her period and said it stopped now shes bleeding a lot. is that a symptom or somethin more?

She should see MD/DO: I am not sure what "a lot" means, but unusually heavy menses, especially with increased cramping, may be a sign of many medical problems, including endometriosis and uterine fibroids, which are benign muscle tumors, as well as many other things. She needs help for this, but even more so for her methamphetamine use. This is a highly addictive drug which can really enslave people. She needs help

Healthy baby: Please let your obstetrician know this asap. You will need to detoxify from methamphetamines. Please do this under medical supervision.

Cannabis can stay: In u body for one month, since u used it two weeks ago u could be still positive , good luck.

Please get help: Please get help for this addiction, it will ruin your life. 
If you are never supposed to have a period and you are bleeding then there is something wrong and you need to see a doctor and get a pelvic exam to determine the cause. I hope will see a health care provider as soon as possible.

: So stop. Continued use will damage any fetus, potentially cause an abortion or premature birth. It would also show up if the newborn is tested.

i just found out im pregnant i take percocet for my back problems i need a safe answer to get off the pills i need to get off pecocet with out a meth program i have been taking for for pain period not to get high i have had some bad problems with my back

Accepted Answer

You : You will be uncomfortable when you stop percocet, but nothing bad will happen to you.  Patients don't die from stopping narcotics.  If you get nausea, you can be safely treated with zofran or phenergan, (promethazine) so you can ask your gynecologist for those.  It will take 4-5 days and then you can be safely off of the percocet.  I wish you the best, and it is good you are trying to get off of this medication.

Very small: Your period is the least likely time to get pregnant as that is when the uterine lining is sloughing off.  You are most fertile during the middle of your cycle, approve day 14 when you ovulate.  See attached chart. Better question is this the man you want to father your kids? Use protection and birth control.

: Quit using meth immediately. See a doctor to be examined and evaluated for bleeding in the stool. If you have blood in your stool additional investigation may be needed. However, meth is your bigger problem.

i have an iud i have symptoms of pregnancy my last period was in oct 5th 2021 i took home test and went to the hospital and was negative they did a ultrasound i heard a heartbeat they said i was not pregnant but smoked meth before the test?

: If your last period was 10/5 and you had conception several weeks later, you couldn't hear the fetus's heart beat by the time of US done (dopplers can’t reliably detect a baby’s heartbeat until 10-12 weeks). With the presence of IUD and negative pregnancy test I can conclude that you are not pregnant.

Meth: If anyone is taking a  "meth" that would be the greatest of their worries. Menstrual periods can be easily affected by any emotional stressors and/or extreme swings in weight loss or weight gain.
