Hormonal effects: It is possible that the withdrawal of hormones is making you feel symptomatic.  It is unlikely that the symptoms that you are having are related to pregnancy as the embryo is not in communication with the bloodstream of the mother so early.

No emergency: If you missed your period by 4-5 days, you may do a home pregnancy test. For metallic taste, try giving more attention to your oral hygiene, may be change your toothpaste, brush and floss regularly, if that does not help, you may wish to see a dentist.

Pregnancy test: If you had sex since your last period and have missed your period by more than 4-5 days do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully.
If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

Quite few things...: This can be caused by a variety of inflammatory conditions in the mouth-- periodontal disease, infected teeth, mucous membrane disorders, and yeast infection. Upper respiratory catarrhal conditions and gastroesophageal reflux disease are also common offenders. Endocrine and metabolic disease can cause this, some medications-e.g. Metronidazole, and neurological smell/taste derangement (dysgeusia).

Reflux: Good morning! Most common is reflux of stomach contents and acid. Consider using Pepcid or Zantac (ranitidine) to reduce the acid content. Also, small amount of blood left over from a nose bleed and even certain medications can cause reflux to worsen and can give you that metallic taste. I hope this helps.

Quantitative HCG: It might be too early at this point for a urine pregnancy test to turn positive.  The earliest pregnancy test you can take is a quantitative blood test.  It can detect HCG 8-9 days after fertilization of the egg.  If it shows a level less than 25, then it is equivocal and might need to be repeated in a couple of days.  Visit your doctor if there is concern for a pregnancy.

Do a test!: None of but may not - things are likely to be early pregnancy signs but the real way to find out is a test.  PMS differs for people and may include some but do a test if you think it's possible. Use protection if you don't wish to be pregnant. Be well - be careful!
