Scar: It probably is scar/fibrous tissue, but could be a wart or foreign body. If it gets larger, red or hurts, i would get it checked.

R/O CELLULITIS: Cellulitis is a superficial skin infection that can be caused after an abrasion or rupture of a boil . Keep the area clean and apply topical antibiotics. Seek prompt evaluation for potential need of oral antibiotics/X-ray /labs/wound culture. F/U with your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen, oral antibiotics may be needed.

See details: Ra is very unlikely when a single finger is involved.  Is the finger swollen? Is there an area of tenderness? It could something simple such as tendinitis. See an orthopedist or rheumatologist.

There : There are many arthralgias and arthropathies that defy categorization of diagnosis. It sounds as though your rheumatologist is being thorough.

Sometimes palin old early osteoarthritis is the source, with minimal xray findings and no serological tests that are positive.

Hopefully you have had xrays . Often these are neglected.

Other things that may simulate joint pain a t the mcp joints are trigger fingers without locking or triggering, but you say there is triggering.

So it sounds like you just have regular plain old trigger fingers a common but often underdiagnosed problem. As noted it can present with or without triggering

an infectious or fungal etiology should also be ruled out as well if it does not respond to typcical treatment.

Arthritis: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you and your symptoms warrant evaluation by a physician. What you described suggests inflammation of the joint. You may take acetaminophen if it is painful. If the pain does not go away in a couple of weeks, it would be prudent to see a doctor.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Thumb pain: Could be a bug bite, a dislocation, or something else.  A cyst is a possibility but the quick onset put that low on the list.  Please see your doctor.  He/she will take care of you.  Peace and good health.

Arthritis: Most commonly osteoarthritis, however you are on the young side for that to be symptomatic. Could be ligament laxity of the cmc joint, or possibly dequervains tenosynovitis of 1st extensor compartment. Recommend hand surgical evaluation.

: The many tiny bones of the hand are highly susceptible to fracture during a fall. Ignoring such a fracture may lead to arthritis later in life. Since you didn’t go to an ER immediately after the fall, you should schedule a visit with your doctor asap for exam and X-ray. You may also need to follow up with an orthopedic hand specialist. If you can’t get a visit soon, go to urgent care.

60yr old female have thumb pain for week or two. pain is base joint and moving into tendon approx 3in from wrist. i have lots of joint pains all bloods negative gp say fibromyalgia. thumb pain is new, ideas what this could be?

: You may have fibromyalgia, but thumb pain is NOT due to it.  Get a second opinion from an orthopedic hand surgeon specialist.
