Could be siezures.: Siezures can be manifested by spasms in muscles anywhere. Doesn't have to be like an epileptic siezure where you lose consciousness and bite your tongue. See your doctor!

so i have 2 nerve test to for my back my arms my thighs and my legs im getting it done because my neurologist said i have spasticity and he wants to know what is causing it they why i been having walking issues is this a symptoms of ms?

: Walking symptoms are common in MS. Remember MS usually has ups and downs.  ALS does not. Check your family history.

diagnosed with rrms last year. 2 relapses post that. on aubagio 14mg daily. for the last 4 months, suffering from spasticity in both upper arms. mri revealed 4 new lesions in r. hemisphere, 1 adj to r. occipital horn of r. lat. ventricle. what to do?

: Sorry, I fully disagree with your current therapy.  Instead you should be using a high efficacy disease modifying therapy. Also supplement vitamin D &amp; have level 50-70 ng/ml Also, find MS specialist at a medical school

MS: Simply describe your symptoms and ask for a complete evaluation to either rule out or define ms.

i had a hemorrhagic brain stem stroke approx 12 months ago. recently spasticity has set in my right arm, leg, chest, throat & face. what can i do to relieve the throat& facial spasticity which covers my entire face, both sides of my neck & my throat?

: Contact your neurologist and discuss use of BOTOX for upper extremity spasticity.  There are also medications which may help, if side effects are not too intense.

Twitching: It may be caused by an irritable nerve or muscle. Deficiency of calcium,magnesium and electrolyte disturbance can be a cause. Avoid caffeine and see your MD if symptoms persist. Tests will be ordered. A neurologist can be consulted as needed.

Left arm spasm: Would check for strep/ mono . Sometimes pharyngitis strep or others can cause muscle tightness in trapezius which is the big muscle of your upper back and neck  I would also be concerned about a peritonsillar abscess/ sinusitis and TMJ dysfunction which can cause upper extremity dysfunction . Would follow up with  MD/ ER/ urgent care today

Radiculopathy: It sounds like you are having a disc push on the nerves in your neck. You will want to have your physician evaluate your neck, and use ibuprofen or another anti-inflammatory medication. If you are having weakness, or loss of function in your hands or arms seek immediate medical attention.

one yr post tb meningitis now my gf is better mentally but she has spasm in her right arm & left leg which is hindering her walk...can this be treated?

Physical therapy: physical and occupational therapy, including hydrotherapy ,together with medication will help  Most patients would reach an optimum state in about 2 years

when you feel lazy and it's difficult to lift your arms (feels similar to fatigue), is this a physical or mental condition?

Accepted Answer

Lazy: If you are indeed lazy, then it is a "mental" thing. If you are not a lazy person normally, but just physically feel lazy and it is not normal to you, it may be a sign of a physical problem that may need to be evaluated.
