Medicines: Excessive lumbar lordosis is treated by physical therapy most commonly.  Each type of cancer is treated differently.  For some the treatment is medicines, for others surgery or radiation. A combination of those three is used for others.

: As for nonprescription meds, acetaminophen is strictly a pain reliever but anti-inflammatory meds like ibuprofen or naproxen can provide both pain relief and anti inflammation effects both for the spine and other joints &amp; muscles of the body.

Normal?: There is no normal medication for  lumbar sprain. Would recommend an otc such as Aleve (naproxen) or advil. These should be combined with heat and stretching exercises. If your symptoms persist see your pcp.

Epidurals: Yes. Epidural injections for lumbar pain can be a hit or miss for pain alleviation . You need to talk to the doctor doing the procedure for more information. :)

lumbar lordosis: Straightening of the spine is not cured by medicine unless it is due to spasms which is uncommon.

Depends: If you have no stomach  problems or bleeding problems you may get relief from motrin.If not check with your doctor.

There are: accounts that it could show up as a false positive for cocaine on an immunoassay  urine drug screen.   However, you could request a GC/MS to be performed, which would definitively rule out the presence of cocaine.

The best answer to your question is its extremely unlikely and not supposed to, but in theory could happen.

Exercise: Low back pain is one of the most common complaints in medicine and the findings on your xray are seen in patients with NO BACK pain as often as those with pain. The most important advice I can give you is EXERCISE! STRENGTHEN THOSE BACK MUSCLES and you will feel better. Your Primary Care Provider can provide you with these exercises Goods Luck Be Well!

have  spinal stenosis with budging lumbar discs .have burning toes. take neurontin (gabapentin) .  it does  not work after 3 weeks .  is drug right for  stenosis!

Give it time: If you have burning pain in the toes Gabapentin (neurontin) is a good medication to try.  The dose might need to be increased.  Talk with you doctor about it.

Please repost: Please repost and explain the relationship in your thinking between lumbar nerve root damage and a urinary tract infection. I don't see the connection. Also, please include the answer you got to your question about ciprofloxacin from the doctor who prescribed the antibiotic; or, if you did not ask your doctor, please state why not.
