What is the best or normal prescription medicine for sprain in the lumbar region?

Normal?: There is no normal medication for lumbar sprain. Would recommend an otc such as Aleve (naproxen) or advil. These should be combined with heat and stretching exercises. If your symptoms persist see your pcp.
