Consult your doctor: You need to consult your doctor to find the reason.It may be because the bacteria are resistant to antibiotic you have been taking and based on the urine culture and sensitivity tests you may need appropriate antibiotics in proper dose.
If still no relief consult a urologist
there may be other complicating conditions like stone or some other condition.

Cranberry juice: It is good to prevent UTI esp in women. However, their ability to cure infection is suspect at best. If the infection is mild, you can try it with a close attention to see if not better in a few days then you need antibiotics. Note, if you actually mean kidney infection (pyelonephritis) i.e. Fever or loin pain + UTI i would treat promptly with antibiotics through your doctor.

Urinary stones: Very often the organisms will reside within the stones, which may be very difficult to eliminate entirely, and as soon as  you are off meds they reinfect you. You may need to discuss with a urologist and and infectious diseases expert and work this difficult issue out. Bad problem and hope it gets resolved.

UTI Cipro (ciprofloxacin) resistant: U need a culture + sensitivities (c&s). Simple UTI should respond to 3-day course of antibiotics. Did u have a urine c&s to identify identify organism + appropriate antibiotics? Do u have a fever? Fever + kidney infection may need IV antibiotics, also kidney imaging, at least by ultrasound to rule out kidney stone, or structural abnormality. Hope ur seeing a physician, this could be serious.

Call you Doc: You may have a new infection that needs to be treated with a different medication. Please call your OB for an urgent check up. In the meantime drink plenty of water and cranberry juice.

Kidney infection: ... also called pyelonephritis, often causes pain in the abdomen, particularly in the flanks.This is where the kidneys are located, and the inflammation around the infection sites frequently causes discomfort. It does not cause a pulled stomach muscle, although the pain with pyelonephritis may feel like that at times. As the antiobitics begin to work, you should notice the pain improving.

taken macrobid for 3/5 days for uti/kidney infection.im experiencing crippling fatigue 2the point where i can barely move.v weak.can i stop the drug?

Evaluation needed: I would be hard pressed to blame the macrobid for such  marked fatigue. Macrobid is not indicated for kidney infections but is used to treat bladder infections.  I feel that you need evaluation to include lab work and repeat urine culture. Persistent infection is one cause of severe fatigue. Discuss this with your treating physician before discontinuing macrobid.

back pain for several days, was on nitrofurantoin mono. couldn't finish the last pill. went back for uti and was prescribed cephalexin liquid medicine. just took first dose a few hours ago. now have a low grade fever and nausea bad. kidney infection?

: Kidney infection (pyelonephritis) is usually presented with flank pain, high fever (more than 101) with chill and sometimes with GI symptoms. Your symptoms are not severe enough for pyelonephritis but it can't be ruled out. Nausea could be the side effect of liquid cephalexin. Just continue the medication for now, retake the dose if you throw it up within 2 hours of ingestion, good luck.

Several: A kidney infection is different from a bladder infection (cystitis).  It has gone higher up the urinary tract.  For this reason, symptoms my be different.  This is usually quite serious and may cause fever, chills, pain on the affected side in the upper back, nausea and vomiting and pain with urination.  One may have pain inn the flank and along the gutter of the abdomen. Don't delay, get seen now.
