Have her checked: True fever at her age (rectal temperature over 100.4 f) deserves evaluation. Giving antipyretics without proper evaluation is not wise.

No: The goal is to get inflammation (doesn't need to be pus) at the injection site so that the baby's immune system can remember the injected material. The result is a sore (ulcer), then a small scar. If there is pus, the reaction may be too big. One's pediatrician can examine the injection site and nearby lymph node areas to see if the reaction is too big. We don't use the BCG vaccine in the US.

i have a mole on my arm that my 3 yo has rubbed/picked at since he was an infant. it has changed to a lighter color & scabbed. should i be concerned?

Probably: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you and even that may not be helpful. You may need to have the lesion removed and the tissue sent to a pathologist for examination. It would be prudent to consult your doctor.

Axillary temp: Temp taken under the arm tends to be 0.3-0.4 degrees (fahrenheit) below those taken by mouth. Normal temp varies depending on gender, recent activity, food & fluid consumption, time of day, &, in women, the stage of the menstrual cycle. According to the ama, fever = body temperature above 98.6° f orally or 99.8° f rectally; so that would be about 98.2 - 98.3ºf axillary.

Transient vs long tm: The forces  that occur in the moments of a delivery can place traction on nerves that come out of the neck & supply the arm.It is relatively common for arm to be limp for a while due to swelling around the nerves.Onset may be immediate or later after swelling occurs, most swelling subsides in a day or two & function returns.Some kids need therapy to recover, rare cases can be permanent.

Placement of shots: Actually I prefer the front of the thigh. There is not enough muscle mass in the arm and the buttocks have large vessels and nerves that are difficult to avoid in small babies.

Thorough eval: This kind of fracture at this age requires a thorough evaluation. A history of the event if known that preceded detection of the injury.An evaluation of the setting wherein it occurred & a minimum set of  x-rays over the all the long bones & ribs for other fractures.The orthopedist is a player in this event, but no more important than the team that covers the other issues.

Maybe: If the baby is otherwise eating and doing okay. Swelling of the site of vaccination is common. You do not need to worry just continue good hygiene and use warm compress for the area and try not to mess with it because it is also painful. If the baby is having other symptoms like not eating or high fever or anything else concerning then let a doctor recheck the baby.

i am 34 y/o and 4 foot 9 inches female i weight 134 lbs history of tricuspid regurgitation and asd repair as a infant. having chest pain, heaviness, left arm aching pain and heart palpatations . please help !?

Need evaluation: If your ASD was repaired as an infant, you're probably cured as far as that goes. Regarding tr, that's present in about 90% of normal people - no problem there. Chest heaviness in a 34 yo is unlikely to be cardiac unless you smoke or have diabetes but with all your symptoms, you need an evaluation with echo and stress testing at a minimum.
