What are your risk factors and exposures? Any anal trauma (enemas, intercourse, manual or instrumental insertion)? Responses to these questions will alter the answer(and the reassurance) you seek.

Most risk with 16/18: Squamous carcinoma of the anus is most often mediated / caused by infection with high risk hpv (in both men and women).  There more than 10 types of hpv that are 'high risk'.  Of those, types 16 and 18 are most strongly associated with progression to invasive cancer.  In general, rectal cancers are not caused by hpv infections.

everytime i walk briskly on a treadmill, i have anal/rectal bleeding. i had colonoscopies and a fistula removed, this is still happening. why?

Consider hemorrhoids: I would suspect you have hemorrhoids and that vigorous activity is irritating the area.  Take a stool softener, drink plenty of liquids, and if the bleeding continues it would be important to see a GI doctor and have a colonoscopy.  Cancer, diverticulosis, and inflammatory bowel disease are other possibilities.

can forcing yourself to poop cause anal/rectal discomfort? for example, i had the urge to have a bowel movement, but i let it pass bc i was busy. about 2 hours later, i basically forced myself to poop without the urge. could this be cause discomfort?

: This certainly will do no harm. But why do it? It's entirely healthy to just wait for the next natural urge.

: Your HCP is correct. Males cannot get anal or rectal STI (including M genitalium) or STI symptoms except by receptive anal sex. It can happen in women because the anus is easily contaminated with vaginal fluid, but not in men without anal sexual exposure. Nothing that causes rectal infection, with or without proctitis, can travel from the penis to the rectum.

i have burning and itching in my rectal area but it is not hemroids. i have scleroderma and was told the disease has changed the skin in  my anus?

Anal Itching: Causes of anal itching include: dry skin, too much moisture, fecal incontinence, excessive washing, overuse of laxatives, chemical irritants, skin disorders, yeast infections, hemorrhoids, anal abrasions, fissures and fistulas, food irritants, medications, infections, anal tumors, other causes.
