my period has been delayed for over one month already due to exercising on my stationary bike for over an hour each day. should i exercise for less than an hour to bring my menstrual cycle back to normal?

Try it: I assume pregnancy is not an issue. It's true that very vigorous regular exercise can disrupt hormonal balance and cause amenorrhea. Reduce your exercise schedule and see if normal menstrual cycle returns.If not consult a gynecologist for evaluation and advice.

See below: The hormonal changes due to Plan B or p2 could have delayed your period. If you miss your period by 4-5 days, do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions carefully. 
If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time.

: Unprotected intercourse for "last two years" may indicate fertility issues (low sperm count or blocked Fallopian tubes).  See your GYN physician, who may order a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) to check for tubal patency. If this test is normal, have your partner see a urologist for a semen analysis.

Taking the bcp's on time (within the hour of taking the previous night's pill) will ensure you are not pregnant, even if your bleeding is very slight.
