Possible: The "swellling" in your body may be extrafat. Please switch to a healthy diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts; low in saturated fats, no tobacco and no more than one drink a day. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day and maintain a healthy weight.

good day i had a swollen ankle on saturday which was very painful. on monday, 6 august i got colchicine tablets and the swelling and pain has gone down. is it possible that it is gout? i dont drink wine and eat excessive amounts of meat and neither

Gout: The only reason to be given Colchicine is for acute gout which does not have to occur because you drink red wine or eat excess meat. Good Luck

got kicked in throat 2 weeks ago by toddler, healed in a couple days. now have pain in throat, feeling of swelling after eating big chunk of meat. urgent care said not related, just to rest. should i get x-ray or more evaluation?

: This may not be related, but there may be a bruise in your throat. Although, this is likely to slowly go away by itself, and rest may be the answer, I would recommend you speak to your own doctor, and consider seeing an ear, nose, and throat specialist, who can better advise on whether you need further studies to look at what we can't see from the outside or with a general throat exam.

Myths of healing: There is no evidence that vinegar does anything but make salad taste good.Pimples occur when glands in our skin get blocked and what they secrete collects/causes pressure. The immediate response is inflammation. This is the body increasing the blood flow to the injury to bring healing factors to the area and also the veins expand to carry bad stuff away. Gentle cleansing, avoid picking/squeezing.
