The report: should include possibilities for the mass seen on ultrasound. Soft, solid, masses often represent fatty tumors (lipomas). However, ultrasound can be limited when it comes to determining what a soft tissues mass is composed of or what structures it involves. Often, MRI is needed to clarify.

i have a hard mass under the skin in my arm, it's about an inch wide. i noticed it probably 5 years ago when it was much smaller. should i worry?

Yes: Hi Judy.
How much to worry depends a bit on your age and what it feels like. Could just be a swollen sweat gland or oil gland (hydradenitis). But it could also be a growth that  should be removed.  I would strongly suggest scheduling with your general practiioner who may want to refer you to a dermatologist or surgeon.

No quick fix. Takes-: -a good weight lifting program and a lot of work to attain this. Also there is a genetic code that will only let your body gain muscle mass and strength, the strength may B there but the definition may B less evident.

Neck and Axilla mass: Likely these are lymph nodes.  I recommend expert exam. Their enlargements could be worrisome.

Many things: It could be caused by a pinched nerve in your neck when your neck tightens up. Heart pain is usually in your left arm but it can be in your right arm. Do see your doctor or a cardiologist and get it checked out.

MRI can miss masses: In my experience, the most common soft tissue mass missed on MRI is a lipoma, a benign tumor made up of cells containing fat, which look very like the surrounding fat surrounding on MRI. The thin capsule may not be visible.

Numbness may be due to pressure on nerve. Other tumors such as schwannoma are less often not easily seen on MRI.

A surgeon is often the best person to evaluate these lesions
