my psychologist is referring me for a mental health assessment saying i'm medication non compliant and my depression needs assessment.  is this something i can say no to? or is it involuntary?

Depends: In the US a person who is considered an adult under prevailing law (local issue) can agree to or refuse care. If the person is a minor or the assessments are part of court ordered evaluations they can proceed with or without your permission. Depends: Smoking pot is generally bad for the lungs - all smoke, regardless of the source, is bad for lungs. Mj has the same particulates and carcinogens as tobacco, just without nicotine or a filter, and is used less often. You could consider eating or drinking it if the medication is for your lungs. Other medicines also are affected by pot because pot revs up some of your liver's enzymes. Ask your doctor.

i'm on medication for depression and i was wondering if depression goes away or will i always have it and have to be on medication for it?

4ever=NOT depressed: Usually an initial major depressive episode is attributed to adverse life events.  Once those events have resolved you should be able to 'ween off' medication.  It is recommended to stay on medication for at least 6 months in order to prevent  'slipping back' in to depression--but discuss with your doctor.  If you have multiple episodes of depression-chances increase that you'll need chronic meds.

severe pain after root canal. how long can it last if i'm on medication?

Often 1 or 2 weeks: Pain to pressure on the tooth is common after root canal and can last up to two weeks.  Severe pain is often caused by the tooth being in hyperocclusion (hitting the opposing tooth too strongly).  The dentist can slightly shorten the tooth and relief will come in a day or two. If  severe pain persists, a persistent infection or fractured root may be the cause.  See the dentist who did the rct.

It can take time: It can take a little while for the medication to give results.

Sometimes it can: take a while to get just the right medication regimen figured out.  Don't give up hope. Make sure that you let your providers know how you are feeling.

As above: Medication works only  percent of time , therapy alone 35 percent med and therapy can work 85 percent. See a therapist.

i have cellulitis that i'm under medication for. is it safe to drive a long trip if it hasn't completely healed?

Possibly not: The safest course of action is not to take a long driving trip until your leg is totally healed.
