Maybe: Lyrica (pregabalin) is an anti-siezure medication indicated for diabetic peripheral neuropathy.  It may also be beneficial for other forms of neuropathic pain.  If your shoulder pain is from a pinched nerve in the neck, then this may be an option.

Yes: Yes, Lyrica (pregabalin) and neurontin (gabapentin) are helpful with inflammatory arthritis.

Yes it may be an : Option for treatment after an evaluation by your physician.  Neurontin (gabapentin) is similar and comes in a generic version so it is cheaper and tends to have less side effects based on its absorption pattern.

Strange combination: Klonopin (clonazepam) is used for anxiety. We do not recommend its use for spasm.

No but controllable : Exercise is the nber one prescription, even if it hurts in the beginning.  After that the muscle spasms tend to let up.  Be sure you are sleeping on an an appropriate supportive pillow.  A good chiropractic cloud be of benefit.Remember slee is a medis.

Cerv Radiculopathy: Pain here is likely a pinched nerve from arthritic pressure and/or a herniated disc, or tendinitis (levator syndrome). Aggravated by poor posture at a computer.  An exam by your doc can help determine if there is significant injury deserving of further studies or treatment. No hurry if not worsening, but, should be seen if not getting better. Nonsurgical usually helps. Try salonpas hot patches.

i have a constant neck pain (it goes from my shoulder up to the right side of my neck). if feels good when messaged. what can i do to ease it?

Continue massage: It is possible that you have muscle spasm, a shoulder issue or cervical disc disease amongst other possibilities. See a spine specialist or Orthopedist who can make the diagnosis which may require an MRI and possibly have you start active physical therapy. In the meantime continue massage as this is helping. Once the cause is established it will be easier to trial additional treatments. Update me

rounded shoulders causing shoulder and neck pain. is wearing a posture brace to bring the shoulders back a good idea? will it weaken muscles?

Exercise is better.: It is far better to exercise and strengthen the muscles in your shoulder and back to correct posture.  See your doc, and get a referral to a physical therapist if necessary and to be sure you don't have scoliosis or another problem of the spine that is affecting your posture.  Stronger muscles will help no matter what the cause, though.
